Described by MAC as a deep plum, cream lipstick with an amplified, semi-matte finish.
I was really hoping this color would be vampy-er. The color looks so rich and deep in color, but once applied it took a few layers to get it as true to color as possible and even then the coverage wasn’t the best. I can still see my naturally pink lips. To call this color “amplified” would be a stretch. It also never dried down to a semi-matte finish but it remained shiny. Despite those small complaints its still a really dope color. I think most women would find it to be a more wearable deep plum than the opaque matte shades we typically see. The tiny addition of shimmer also makes it photograph well. I’m sure there’s many dupes around of this shade; Wet & Wild has a color but it’s more opaque (sorry can’t think of the name) so if you add a little gloss prior to application you should be able to match it without any issues.
